Town and

Featuring The Sheraton Grand Hotel  & Spa and Gleneagles

One of the most unique aspects of a holiday in Scotland is the ability to travel between the historic capital city to breathtaking countryside in just one hour. A chauffeur-driven tour which takes in the best of Edinburgh and Perthshire is time well spent and this four-night experience is the perfect balance of town and country. Your experience will begin in Edinburgh where you will take in the highlights of the capital and enjoy    a two-night stay in the Sheraton Grand Hotel, where you will

bask in true relaxation with the hotel's gin-tasting experience and award-winning thermal spa. On day three, you will travel to the internationally acclaimed Gleneagles: a destination in itself! If you can bear to leave the estate for a while, your chauffeur will be on hand to ensure you experience the very best of the surrounding area including Scone Palace and Drummond Castle & Gardens

“We would not have seen Scotland in the most spectacular ways if it had not been for our driver guide - a driver and travelling companion who always showed when we needed him, laughed at our jokes, and pushed us to see more. The consummate professional, the reserved gentleman, the helpful guide.”

Day 1

Upon arrival at Edinburgh Airport or Edinburgh Waverley, you will be met by your own private chauffeur guide and escorted to your pristinely presented chauffeur driven hybrid saloon. After a brief orientation tour of the city of Edinburgh, your chauffeur will escort you to The Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa - your hotel for the next two nights. With iconic views of Edinburgh’s famous castle, you could immediately immerse yourself in the Ginnasium Gin Tasting Experience at the hotel or relax in the award-winning urban thermal spa: One Spa.

Day 2

This will be your day of getting to know the city once dubbed ‘Athens of the North’. The grandeur of Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyrood House are not to be missed along with hidden gems dotted across the contrasting Old and New Towns which give Edinburgh its architectural characteristic.  The new Holyrood Distillery is one of the latest examples of the regeneration of Old Town buildings with tours to showcase a new generation of single malts and gins. After a suitably relaxing lunch, a visit to the Royal Yacht Britannia is a must. Once the floating palace for the Royal Family, it is now one of the city’s top attractions with a tour providing an insight into the working life of this former icon of Great Britain.

Day 3

After breakfast, you will leave the rush of the city behind and head to Perthshire and the internationally acclaimed   Gleneagles. Dating back to 1924, this former railway hotel and sporting estate has been a luxury icon in Scotland for nearly 100 years. The estate extends to nearly 850 acres of beautiful countryside and there is a wealth of activities indoor and out, offering adventure for all ages. Dining must be at the top of your agenda too with the hotel's iconic fine-dining restaurant, The Strathearn,   and the two Michelin-starred restaurant, Andrew Fairlie, a highlight of any stay here

Day 4

If the temptations of this great hotel are not enough, your chauffeur will be on hand to allow you to explore the Perthshire country side. The silvery banks of the River Tay, Scone Palace and Drummond Castle & Gardens are but some of the attractions which your chauffeur will gladly include on a sightseeing trip from the hotel.

Day 5

Make the most of your last morning at Gleneagles and after breakfast, have one last activity or treatment, before re-joining your chauffeur to allow him to return you to Glasgow or Edinburgh or another convenient location for your onward journey home.

What better way to tour Scotland than with your own private chauffeur guide at the wheel of a luxury car? From the moment you arrive at the airport or train station, you will be cosseted in the kid-gloved hands of your very own touring chauffeur. Your bags will be loaded and unloaded at each hotel and personal introductions will help ease you into each property when you first arrive.  Your safety is of utmost importance to us and you can rest assured that your car will be prepared each day, just as your hotel room will be cleaned and

refreshed, ensuring that your Luxury Scotland experience is exactly what you, the discerning traveller, expects. As you pass through the glorious countryside visiting castles and historical landmarks, the country will open up in front of you in a way that can only happen when someone else is doing the driving. What's more, you can relax each time you visit a distillery in the full knowledge that driving is not something you will need to worry about on the other side!

Can I change elements of the itinerary?

Of course, the very essence of a chauffeur driven tour is flexibility so we can tailor the experience to accommodate your own needs. Let us know your thoughts and we can adapt any trip as required or create something completely bespoke.

How many people are included in this package?

The starting point for the tour creation has been for them to involve two people sharing a room and one of our chauffeur driven cars, but that should not be seen as a limitation or restriction. Hotel pricing can be based on single occupancy and if more than one room is required then we can provide you with full costings. Prices for the chauffeur driven car will always be based on a price per vehicle not per person. Our luxurious Mercedes V-Class people carriers can carry up to 6 or 7 people and are ideal for families, and again the cost is per vehicle, not per person. Contact us for more information.

What are the terms and conditions?

As each trip is individually tailored, each will have its own terms and conditions. Luxury Scotland properties are mainly privately owned and each has its own set of guest terms and conditions. When you are ready to confirm a booking of both your hotels and chauffeur driven car, all the terms will be carefully outlined for each property. We would always recommend ensuring you have a robust and up to date personal travel insurance policy in place for any trip you take.

When is this experience available from?

As soon as the restrictions on non-essential travel, and any variation to these guidelines issued by the Government, are lifted we would anticipate being able to offer these, subject to availability.

What are the costs involved?

The cost for each trip will vary depending upon hotel availability, car type and the length of the trip. Prices for the Town & Country experience are from £3,200 based on two people on a room only basis, with arrival and departure transfers and time with your touring chauffeur conducting local sightseeing.
