Featuring Fingal and The Royal Yacht Britannia

Edinburgh: the must-see destination of choice for anyone visiting Scotland. From the Georgian New Town to the medieval streets of the Old Town, this city is steeped in history and culture and a chauffeur-driven tour is the ultimate way to experience the very best of Scotland's capital. This luxury experience begins when our chauffeur meets you on arrival in Edinburgh, takes in the

most important attractions around Edinburgh Castle, The Palace of Holyrood House, The Royal Yacht Britannia, and Edinburgh's new city centre distillery - Holyrood Distillery - as well as including a very unique two-night stay aboard MV Fingal, docked in the regenerated port of Leith just a short journey from the centre of town.

"On arrival at Edinburgh airport, Danie our driver was waiting complete with the most enormous smile with matching 'tash dressed in immaculate livery. Our Chauffeur was chatty, informative and at all times pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble and I really cannot find fault with anything. I will not hesitate to use you again and recommend all others to do so."

Day 1

Upon arrival at Edinburgh Airport or Edinburgh Waverley, you will be met by your own private chauffeur guide and escorted to your pristinely presented chauffeur driven hybrid saloon. After a brief orientation tour of the city of Edinburgh, your chauffeur will escort you aboard Fingal, Edinburgh’s unique floating luxury hotel in the heart of Leith. A bustling, trendy and engaging example of urban revival, Leith has much to offer during a short stay in Edinburgh.

Day 2

After a relaxing breakfast, your chauffeur will return to your hotel and begin your day of sightseeing across the city of Edinburgh and its environs. The grandeur of Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyrood House are not to be missed along with hidden gems dotted across the contrasting Old and New Towns which give Edinburgh its architectural character.  The new Holyrood Distillery is one of the latest examples of the regeneration of Old Town buildings with tours to showcase a new generation of single malts and gins. After a suitably relaxing lunch, a visit to The Royal Yacht Britannia is a must. Once the floating palace for the Royal Family, it is now one of the city’s top attractions with tours providing an insight into the working life of this former icon of Great Britain.

Day 3

After taking full advantage of your check out time, once again your chauffeur driven car could return to allow you to do some last-minute sightseeing and shopping across the city, or alternatively you could spend some time on foot exploring the nooks and crannies of the Old Port of Leith or other parts of Edinburgh with your luggage left securely at your hotel. Your chauffeur can then transport you back to Edinburgh Airport or the station for your late afternoon flight or train home.

What better way to tour Scotland than with your own private chauffeur guide at the wheel of a luxury car? From the moment you arrive at the airport or train station, you will be cosseted in the kid-gloved hands of your very own touring chauffeur. Your bags will be loaded and unloaded at each hotel and personal introductions will help ease you into each property when you first arrive.  Your safety is of utmost importance to us and you can rest assured that your car will be prepared each day, just as your hotel room will be cleaned and

refreshed, ensuring that your Luxury Scotland experience is exactly what you, the discerning traveller, expects. As you pass through the glorious countryside visiting castles and historical landmarks, the country will open up in front of you in a way that can only happen when someone else is doing the driving. What's more, you can relax each time you visit a distillery in the full knowledge that driving is not something you will need to worry about on the other side!

Can I change elements of the itinerary?

Of course, the very essence of a chauffeur driven tour is flexibility so we can tailor the experience to accommodate your own needs. Let us know your thoughts and we can adapt any trip as required or create something completely bespoke.

How many people are included in this package?

The starting point for the tour creation has been for them to involve two people sharing a room and one of our chauffeur driven cars, but that should not be seen as a limitation or restriction. Hotel pricing can be based on single occupancy and if more than one room is required then we can provide you with full costings. Prices for the chauffeur driven car will always be based on a price per vehicle not per person. Our luxurious Mercedes V-Class people carriers can carry up to 6 or 7 people and are ideal for families, and again the cost is per vehicle, not per person. Contact us for more information.

What are the terms and conditions?

As each trip is individually tailored, each will have its own terms and conditions. Luxury Scotland properties are mainly privately owned and each has its own set of guest terms and conditions. When you are ready to confirm a booking of both your hotels and chauffeur driven car, all the terms will be carefully outlined for each property. We would always recommend ensuring you have a robust and up to date personal travel insurance policy in place for any trip you take.

When is this experience available from?

As soon as the restrictions on non-essential travel, and any variation to these guidelines issued by the Government, are lifted we would anticipate being able to offer these, subject to availability.

What are the costs involved in this experience?

The cost for each trip will vary depending upon hotel availability, car type and the length of the trip. Prices for the Nautical Edinburgh experience start from £1,300 based on two people on a room only basis, with arrival and departure transfers and time with your touring chauffeur conducting local sightseeing.
